Dear Family,
This is the weirdest place in the entire world. But i made it to monday so that's good. It really has been the longest week. Wednesday was so long, but they have gotten a little better. Everybody just kept saying if you make it to sunday you will be fine. and it's true. sunday was great. you are learning the whole time but its not like we do in the classroom so it's kind of a break. The beds are not comfy. They really give you no time to think of anything else so when i go to sleep i start thinking of all the things i want to tell you guys so i can't go to sleep, so i don't really like thinking about you ha ha just kidding. We have a great Branch president, president gubler (ha ha ya gubler) and i had an interview with him yesterday and he knows exactly what to say to make you feel absolutely great. My companion is Sister Joseph. She's great. she's from layton and she's funny. i'll try to figure out how to do the whole picture thing. even when we print them we probably won't get them for a week so i'll print some today. They told us to tell you to use dear elder cause then we get them that day and have a hard copy of what ever you send us. we can't print anything here. but it doesn't matter to me. i got a few dear elders the first night and it was great. we got to go to the temple today and we did initories. that was really good. there are two other sisters in our district, sister palmer and sister fallentine. we are all from utah. One is going to cleveland too and the other one is going to st. louis with the four elders in our district. They are Elder duke, preece, payne, and bessendorfer. all the elders are so adorable. they are all so nice. we barely have to open any doors or clean up our trays. everybody is just so happy. it's freaky. i saw jessica at my first breakfast. it was so happy. i really think the reason she got kidney stones was so i could see her here. i feel kind of bad. Erin was my host who took me to my room and classroom and kind of showed me around. we just started talking and laughing and we got lost. No i am not eating my veggies, but if you saw them i don't think you would eat them either. the food isn't awful, but it isn't great either. it will be a great day when i don't have to struggle with the toilet paper dispenser. there really is no time to get ready in the morning. i'm still getting used to calling people sister thing. it's kind of weird, but i think if someone called me Heidi it would be weird too.
we started teaching investigators on friday. the first one was so bad, but it got better the second time. we have lots of different one this week that we will do. it's tough. I am going to have to change so much. and it is going to be so freakin' hard. It's crazy, the spirit is so strong here and it's so great. sorry this is really disorganized.
Sister joseph told me the other day that making decisions and talking to people are some of my strengths. i kind of just looked at her like is she really talking to me and said i think you're going to have to write my parents and tell them this because they will not believe it if i told them you said that. those are two of the worst things. Anyway, i love you guys. how'd everything at home? anything exciting? i don't really know what else to say. i'm doing good now.
