This week has been pretty crazy. I am still about 10 miles out of my comfort zone. This really is the hardest thing ever. You always hear that a mission is going to be hard. You kind of come into it and kind of just expect it to be easy to be like i'm here and i'll do whatever you want me to do. But there is a lot of breaking down that has to be done before that will have the slightest chance of working and being built up. I still have a lot of work to do.
Yesterday we had stake conference. It was really good. All of the speakers were great. All the missionaries in the stake along with the laurels and priests (i think) were on the stand because we sang a couple songs. I was really tired so i think i keep nodding a little. We sang the mission song as the prelude song. It's a pretty cool song. The last verse is pretty powerful. And we also sang Behold the Royal Army.
On saturday we gave a tour to a family from utah and they had seven kids and had been on the road for two weeks already. It was so amazing because they were so prepared to be there which made the whole experience absolutely amazing.
We also had a lesson yesterday with these people who were walking their dog while we were out tracting last week. It was really cool. We just walked in their home and you could feel the spirit already there. And the lesson just went great. We didn't really give them full lesson, but it was really great to have that experience because most of the time people just don't want to talk to us.
We have a few lessons here and there with members and less actives, but we really don't have anybody to teach so we have to go out and find people by going tracting. We haven't had any referrals, but hopefully we'll get some.
So sister V has some cds that she listens to in the morning. I bet you have never heard Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel sung in Russian, cause i have now.
My schedule basically til next transfer is i'm here every saturday from 10 to 9 and then from 3 to 9 every other sunday or tuesday. When we aren't doing any tours at the visitors center we are in this office thing in the visitors center where we have to make calls and do chat.
