We had our primary program. We also were supposed to have an older lady that we talked to on the phone, but we didn't know what she looked like, come to church. She didn't want to meet with us before. So there was already lots of grandparents and visitors so we have no idea if she came or not. We were really trying to look for her.
One day when we were tracting it rained. Just when we were tracting, though. But nobody took any pity on us. I also decided that instead of praying for me not to make faces when i eat food at other people's houses you should just start praying for me to eat food that i like. That would be a lot better. I had one of the hardest dinners to eat yet. But don't you worry she gave us some of the leftovers. So i guess i didn't make too bad of faces. It was really tough.
We had a fireside at the visitors center last night that was really great. Then we had a slumber party at our house. In our room we have two sets of bunk beds and the Hiram sisters usually come and stay with us on Monday nights, but sister V spoke at the fireside so they came with us early and then the training sisters moved their mattresses to our room and we all slept down there. It was fun.
The only tour i can think of this week was a family with four or five kids that came and they home schooled them and they had lived in Ireland for nine years and they started their trip in may and they are still going and they don't know when they are going to stop. It might not be til next summer sometime. Just whenever they feel like going home. They are all in one RV. And they've already been to 33 states.
We haven't been able to find many people to teach. We are having "bring a friend to church" next Sunday so hopefully that will go well. We are trying to work with the members, but a lot of them aren't that receptive to us. Well not a lot, but it's going to take some work and i know it's already a ton better then it was about a year ago. The sisters before had to work really hard.
I've also realized a little more just how real Satan is. But he is so real and he is everywhere. It's pretty scary to see all of the little things that he has done. There was a scripture i liked from a talk i read in rev. 3:20. We always talk about the scripture "ask and ye shall receive" and i know that we do feel the spirit and there is that one painting of Christ knocking, but i had never really thought of it that way. He is knocking too and we have to answer.
