The Indians need to win

So we went to amish country. A lot of the sisters went. We went to Mary Yoders for lunch and it was so good. They have some peanut butter spread that is way good. I bought some. Then we went to this cheese factory. I think i was the only one who really liked it. I got some baby swiss cheese and it's really good. Then we went and drove around a little and went to this other place and i got a couple fry pies (good) and peanut butter covered pretzels (not as good as i thought they were going to be).

On tuesday we went to canton for the mission tour with president sorensen. We had to go to the other zone's mission tour so we still have sisters at sites everyday. So we got to see a whole new zone.

On saturday we got to go work at the strawberry festival for the kiwanis club up at the high school. We were there for five hours making strawberry shortcakes and sundaes for people. It was a lot of fun. There was music blaring right by us the whole time and it was so hard not to dance or do anything else for that matter. We did get a couple dance moves in though. It got me totally out of missionary mode which was hard. They played a lot of good country songs.

That evening we were tracting and we were talking to this old guy through his screen door and all of the sudden he stopped talking and fell on to the floor on his back! It was the scariest thing. His screen door was locked so we couldn't get in. He eventually got up. We kept asking him if we could do something or if there was someone there to help him. He said the only help we could do was to have the Indians start winning games. Oh my goodness. It was so scary.

We also went to strawberry days on sunday and sang primary songs...on a stage. The edmans and sister black came and they were pretty much the only ones clapping. It was super awkward. We sang some fathers day songs.

Semi spiritual thought of the week. I've been trying to read doctrine and covenants and have been realizing how many times he calls us friends. It's kinda cool. You should look at it.

We have the visitors center here and that's the only place i go. So there is the visitors center, the store, whitney home, johnson inn, sawmill, and ashery. Only the senior couples go to the morley farm that is just a mile away and the johnson home has a few senior couples and a few of the sisters that live closer down there go there for a day or two a week also.
