We had lots of time in our area this week, but not many people would meet with us.
It's been really cold and snowy. On wednesday we were at sites, but at four everybody got a text from the mission president and everybody had to go home for the night and that included us so we did some stuff for our area at home.
On Saturday one of the sisters was sick so i went on exchanges with her companion into willowick. It was weird going back there. We didn't see any people that i knew though. We had dinner at this lady's house. Sister gee said that she is really healthy so i got a little worried. She said we were going to start out with a green drink. I didn't even want to ask or think about it, but she made it right in front of us and was telling us all about the things that were going in it (which did not ease my worries). I was not expecting to like it at all, but it was really good. I would probably want to eat it again. But then we had salmon. Ya i still don't like fish. I ate a lot of it though.
So we had a lesson yesterday. She wanted a large print book of mormon and we finally got to give it to her yesterday and teach her a little bit. It's kind of funny because she just kept telling us that the book of mormon is true and it's the only thing that makes sense and she had already started reading teachings of the prophet the joseph smith one. She is all about seeking. So it all already makes sense in her head like everything and now we are just going to work on the spiritual part. She a little older and has cancer so that's a bummer, but she really likes us. At the beginning she started talking about marriage and sister denison explained to her about in the temple we are sealed and together with our families forever and she just said why don't more people know about this. It was pretty funny. We didn't really get to the part that you actually have to do a few things in order to be able to do that.
Oh and by the way trying to find something to do as a missionary on new years eve is not fun.
