So this week was OK. We didn't have much time in our area at all. All we had was in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday So that was kind of hard. But we did get to meet with Dan and Lamar who are kind of our investigators. We are going to have to switch Dan over to some elders because he doesn't live in our area. We are really sad about it. Our lesson was so long with him. He has a lot of deep doctrine questions so we are trying to go back to the basics and then work from there. We taught the restoration and we didn't even get all the way through it and it took two hours. It was really good though.
We did get to go to mission leadership council this week though. It was so good. We are really focusing on finding new investigators and just as we continually do that, we will always have people to teach. That meeting is always way good.
On Thursday we were at the Johnson Farm. There was a big youth group from Utah county. I remember when they came though last year in Kirtland and it was way good and it was so good this time too. And actually when we went up to Kirtland the next day we took a group of them too. It was really fun to talk to them because a bunch of the boys had their mission calls and a lot of the girls want to go on missions. They were really fun.
I really liked that article from President Uchdorf. I thought if was so interesting that when those people in the desert didn't have something to look at that they went in circles. It's so weird. But that is what the gospel does bring us. It brings us that hope and we know that our goal is to live with our Heavenly Father again. When we have that it makes the rest just fall into place a little easier.
So the missionary work is comin'. We are just really focusing on finding people. Hopefully we will be going on exchanges this week. We haven't yet this transfer and we are going down to Massillion which has sisters that are full proselyting in the Akron Stake. Both of the areas have sisters that just barely came out this transfer.
