The Trinity

I do have a new companion. Her name is sister wygant. She's from provo. I didn't really know her that well before so it's been good.

We are still going to be going to kirtland.  For the most part we are up at the visitors' center on fridays and saturdays and then every other thursday we are at the Johnson Farm. We have no idea when we are going to be able to do weekly planning on those weeks and we are trying to figure out times that we can do exchanges and it's been really difficult. Hopefully something works out. We got another set of sisters in our district so we have one more to do exchanges with. 

So this week we had a lesson with Dan before Sister Goodman left. I can't remember what i've told you about him. He loves the trinity. His main question is how we know what truth is. So we showed him the page in the pamphlet titled "how do i know?" or something like that. And he told us that you can't trust your thoughts and feelings because they are falsifiable. He brought his friend jesse with him. He also loves the trinity very much. We had a great discussion with them about God and Christ and after a while i don't know what happened, but when they started talking about the trinity and how much it means to them the spirit totally left. They have a lot of concerns with the early church and Joseph Smith and stuff. Hopefully they will start to be a little bit more open.

We had a couple other lessons with less actives that went really well. I don't know any specifics, but they were really good. Anna's parents come into town next week so that will be exciting.
