Life is good. It got warmish for a couple days last week, but when we went to kirtland on thursday it started snowing again. We both forgot our boots and didn't bring the best of shoes so that was fun. Sister Goodman slipped on some ice and snow and hit her head and back and bum. But i think she's ok now. And this morning when we woke up there were a few inches everywhere and it's still snowing. What in the world. Global warming is such a hoax. For reals.
So the mice are back. There was another incident. It was awful. Sister Goodman made a trap that we thought for sure would get them, but they haven't gone for it yet. It includes a cardboard box, a milk jug, and a cardboard staircase plus some peanut butter treats.
So Shawn didn't come to church. We don't know what happened. But a less active came to church. Her name is julie. I can't remember if i told you about her before. She is the greatest. She hasn't come to church in a really long time until a couple weeks ago when she just had a feeling all day that she needed to go to church the next day so she did. Before they couldn't even get her even close to a church building. We like freaked out. And that church meeting was like exactly for her. It was awesome. But i think it had been even longer since she had gone to the singles branch (which is where she was baptized) because something happened. So she texted us yesterday like an hour before church started and asked when it started and then said she was coming. She was freaking out. It almost looked like she was going to pass out when she walked in. She only stayed for sacrament and then had to go, but she came! She might of just come to make it up to us because she cancelled on us twice this week. It was so exciting and great.
All of our less active appointments cancelled on us. Like literally all of them except for one. We are still trying to find people. It's spring break this next week at kent state. I'm so excited for easter. Easter is like the greatest thing ever. We have been trying to do an easter message with the members and it's just great.
Also our bishops son got married on saturday (by the way he got home from his mission like less than a year ago and met her not very long ago and the bishop even said how he thought it was too quick in his testimony last month). They already had most of it set up, but we went over to help on saturday morning for a little bit. There were two ladies from the ward who set up everything. It looked so good. It was at the church building in tallmadge and it just looked so great. We ended up being there for a little bit of the reception or luncheon or whatever it was. We got a little of the appetizers. It was so weird to be at a wedding. I was just thinking about allie's a lot of the time. It was weird when all the family started showing up and the other guests.
