So I'm not going to take too much time today because sister rasmussen doesn't really need to email much this week. Her family is coming to pick her up this week and they'll be coming back to the rootstown ward on sunday. That will be good. I am going to miss her a lot. She is awesome.
So they are adding a new set of sisters to our ward. We are suppose to divide our ward into three. We sat and looked at a map for about three and a half hours yesterday and we still aren't quite sure what we are going to do. It's kind of weird to split it into three because there are two towns (kent and ravenna) and the rest is farmland and little tiny town ish things. Some maybe a little bigger than venice. It's going to be weird for a bit. We told the ward and they seemed a little shocked. It will be interesting. They are moving into Ravenna's apartment so we don't have to switch around. So we'll see what happens.
We met some quakers this week at kent social services. That was interesting. They told us how quiet their meetings are. They have an interesting set up.
So we got some new training for this website program thing that we use at the visitors center that we use for emails and phone calls and chat. It is pretty neat. I think it will change things a bit.
We did have an awesome tour on saturday. Some elders came with a member and then a returning member and his wife, who is learning right now, and son. They were so excited to learn. The school of the prophets was awesome. We talked a lot about the word of wisdom and the elders taught and asked questions. Then we talked about the rest of what happened there and talked about God's love. It was so great. At the end one of the elders just said don't forget this room. Don't forget what you felt here and being here. And the member who came had only been to kirtland once before and had just gone through the temple last week and she said it was just a great experience for her. It was just great. I don't really know how to describe things. They are just great.
Anyways, we are kind of lacking on the investigator side of things. And two of the less actives that they would meet with regularly moved since i got here. So that's how it's going.
So no fungus hairstyles this time. I mean it's not what i like the best, but it works. My hair person was also trying to tell me what bars that she recommended that she had been to. It was kind of scary because she was just talkin and chopin. I think i might have had a panicked look on my face some of the time.
It's getting a little tiny bit warmer here. The sun is out today, but it is sure bitter. You guys have so much snow. I don't think i've seen that much know in a long time. We didn't get much here.
