So Jojo got baptized on Friday night. Her mom and her sister ended up not coming, but her son and his girlfriend and their baby and her nephew came. We waited to start til they showed up. That was really neat. She was just so happy.
She had a crazy day the day before she got baptized. Quite a few people from the ward came and we had tons of treats. That was good. I enjoyed that part too. Then she got confirmed on Sunday and she looked so happy afterwards and it looked like she felt she belonged there. It was awesome.
We had a lesson on the holy ghost on Wednesday and when we told her that she was going to be able to have it with her always she just looked at us and smiled and said wow. It was so great.
Jojo bore her testimony after she was baptized. She started talking about the book of mormon and angels and plates and it was mostly correct and she also just turned to her family that was sitting on the side and was like i just want you to know this because everybody else here already does. And she talked about all the things she has learned from the book of mormon and how she wants to finish it and start reading it again. She just has a funny way of putting things.
It was a good week!
