One of the full pros (proselyting?) sisters, Sister Clausen, has been having problems with her knees ever since she got out and she can't really go tracting or stairs and stuff like that so for this transfer she will be with us and if we are tracting she will just be at sites with other sisters. So it's going to be kind of confusing, especially for the ward. She's super nice. She has been with us most of the time so far.
The leaves are starting to change, but not fully yet.Jojo (got some of her problems worked out)! It was such an exciting day! We are still going to take it pretty slow though.
There was one tour that we took that was neat. It was two young couples that didn't know each other and they each had a little child with them. One of the husbands didn't really talk much most of the tour, but you could tell that he was learning and paying attention. The store ended up being the last thing we did and in the school of the prophets he was like the only one that talked and it was really cool. One thing he said that i really liked was how the saints were so willing to give up everything and sacrifice everything to do what God would have them do. So they were so ready to do that. But they had to give up more than they thought they had and that's what made it hard. It really is true though. They had so much faith it's unbelievable.
The first thing is says (in the movie in the visitor center) is the story of Kirtland is the story about people. And that is really what it is all about. So much happened and really so many people were prepared for everything and that is what made it so special.
You asked me one time what the hardest thing was and i think that one of them is doing all you can and sometimes not seeing how it works out or what will come of it or if anything we did helped at all. I know that it will always work out how it is supposed to.
And i think the funnest thing is being with and getting to know a lot of the sisters here. I'm not really good at it and it's sometimes the hardest thing to be around sisters all the time, but it's way fun. I think a lot of it is seeing that God loves everyone. He really does no matter who they are or what they do.
