So this week was good. All the missionaries had a meeting with our new Bishop. He seems to have been thinking about a lot of ideas about missionary work and everything else and now he gets to use them and put them into action. I think it was a little hard to put them into action before. It's going to be so great. He really wants us out in the community like at baseball games and other community events. It's going to be really awesome.
We got to meet with a few people this week so that was good. We met with a less active that we had never met with before. He is like the nicest person ever and we got to meet his girlfriend too. He kind of grew up the last little bit in the Rootstown ward so he probably knows more people than we do, but his parents moved and a bunch of other stuff happened that we don't know much about. Anyway. They are living together and it's basically like this apartment, but it is behind a house and it kind of looks like a shed. We had an awesome lesson with them on 3 Nephi 11. They are awesome. They also offered to feed us sometime, which is kind of weird because they are both like 20. I don't think i've had someone feed us who was younger than me. But hopefully we'll be able to soon.
We had a little training meeting for our new calling. They basically just told us that we have to be a good example. We have mission leadership council (i think that is what it's called) and they will be teaching us more about how to conduct an exchange and a bunch of other stuff. I'm really nervous.
We got to do the community garden in kirtland on saturday. It is something the community of christ does and we help get it all weeded and mulched at the beginning of the season. It was weird because i was there for it last year. It doesn't feel like i've been here that long. That realization hit kind of hard. It was lots of fun though.
We took a really weird and kind of awkward tour on saturday. It was a man and woman and they were semi young, but we found out that this was basically the first time they had met in person. They had been talking online and this is when they were meeting. It was weird because they didn't seem to like each other so they didn't talk to each other or sit by each other. It was really funny. I hope the rest of their weekend went ok.
