So this week was good. We got to go to mission leadership council on Tuesday. There are a ton of us. There are 26 of us plus the assistants, the Sorensens and president and sister Vellinga. We talked a lot about exchanges and how to do them and how to make them a good experience. We are going to go on our first exchange on Wednesday with some of the other sisters in our ward, Sister Nelson and Sister Esplin. I'm really scared, but i think it will be fun.
Hey guess what we had stake conference too. On Saturday we left early from the visitor center to go out to Youngstown for the Saturday session. It was so good. President Kirk, the stake president, talked for a lot of the time and it was so good. He talked about making the sacrament and sacrament meeting more sacred and that we need to prepare. Another thing he talked about was our legacy. Everything we do can effect our legacy and we should be continually striving to increase our legacy by effecting other people's life. It was so good.
On Sunday it was a regional conference that was broadcast from salt lake to 64 stakes. Elder Gay, Sister Wixom, Elder Hales, and President Uchtdorf spoke to us. It was neat. They talked a lot about family prayer and family home evening and how we need to serve others and help others have spiritual experiences. One scripture a couple of them used. It was Luke 22:31-32 and i had just read it that morning in my studies so that was cool. The whole thing was way good!
